Tucked away under the shade of beautiful oak trees in Lafayette, Parc De Oaks has become one of my favorite places to eat, hang out, and connect with the community. Over the past year, I've visited countless times, and it has quickly turned into more than just a food truck park for me. It's a place filled with passion, good food, and even new friendships.
Parc De Oaks owned and operated by Chris and Adrea Amos, who pour just as much heart into the park as the food truck owners do in their kitchens on wheels. Chris and Andrea keep the park clean, organized, and always stocked with a rotating variety of food trucks so there's something for everyone-whether you're bringing your family, a group of friends, or just stopping by for a quick bite. Andrea even decorates the park for the holidays and sets up fun family events with photo booths, making the space feel welcoming year-round.

The atmosphere is what really sets Parc De Oaks apart. With plenty of seating beneath the oak trees and games to keep kids entertained, it's the kind of place where you can truly relax and enjoy your meal. Mr. Chimetime called it " probably the best food truck park in the state" thanks to its hidden gems and variety.
When Adrian Sosebee the producer of Eat The Works asked me where they should film an episode for their third season (set to release later this year), I didn't hesitate to recommend Parc De Oaks. It's exactly the kind of spot that deserves to be featured. Local influencer Krazy Blonde Boy joined me and host Brad Bohannan during filming, and we highlighted some of the incredible trucks serving that day.
And speaking of trucks-the lineup never disappoints. Some of my personal favorites include:
Crepes Locos
Nina Creole
Bayou Bao
Keyes Sweet Treats
Southern Kreole Cravings
Maple Street Milkshake Bar
C'est Bon Manger
Icaterevents
Rockin Ice
DJ Jerk Stop
Ava's Top Tier Kitchen
Original Smiley Ice
Cuisine De Madeleine
Each one brings something unique to the table, and no matter what you're craving-savory, sweet or somewhere in between you're bound to find it here.
Parc De Oaks isn't just about food; it's about community, culture, and creating a space where people can gather, laugh, and share a meal together. For me, it's a reminder of why I love Lafayette and why I'm passionate about spotlighting local hidden gems like this.
If you haven't visited yet, make plans soon and bring your appetite.
