Some places surprise you and Churros Boutique in Youngsville is absolutely one of them.
I recently visited Churros Boutique with my daughter Cami, where we not only got to enjoy some incredible food, but also sat down to talk with owners Melissa and Daniel about their journey as small business owners and how a family dream turned into a local favorite.
From the mall to a Community Favorite
Melissa and Daniel began their journey back in 2018 as a small, family-run business inside their very first location at the Acadiana Mall. At the time, they introduced something that was new for many people in Acadiana — churros. Armed with excitement, big dreams, and a lot of hard work, they took a leap of faith.
Thanks to overwhelming community support, that leap paid off.
What started as a small family business grew into something much bigger, eventually allowing them to open their second location in Youngsville. With this expansion, Melissa and Daniel wanted to offer more than just churros, they wanted to create a space where families and friends could gather and enjoy a full experience.
A Menu That Goes Way Beyond Dessert
While churros may have been the beginning, the Youngsville location expanded the menu to include:
Churros (of course!)
Crepes
Milkshakes
Savory brunch and lunch options
And y’all… the food did not disappoint.
During our visit, Cami and I sampled:
King Cake Churro
Crepe Sushi
Cuban Sandwich
Creamy Chicken Supreme
Every single item was delicious, but the Cuban sandwich deserves a special shoutout. It’s made with pressed Cuban bread, loaded with pulled pork, ham, Swiss cheese, mustard, pickles, and tomatoes, and served with chips. I ordered mine without pickles ,y’all know how I am about pickles, and it was absolutely amazing.
This visit was also my first time ever trying a churro, and let me just say… it definitely won’t be my last. I’m officially hooked.
The Perfect Brunch Spot (and Photo Spot!)
One thing that truly stood out about Churros Boutique is the atmosphere. Melissa and Daniel decorated the interior beautifully, creating a warm, welcoming space that’s perfect for brunch, lunch, or a sweet treat break.

And if you love taking pictures, you’re going to love this place. There are so many photo and selfie opportunities, including gorgeous backdrops throughout the restaurant — and yes, there’s even a swing inside that you can sit on for pictures.
A Family Dream Come True
Churros Boutique is a perfect example of what can happen when passion, family, and community support come together. Melissa and Daniel took a dream that started small and turned it into something special — a place that’s about more than just food.
This spot is definitely more than just churros, and if you’re looking for a new brunch spot in Youngsville, this one needs to be on your list.
At Leauxcal, we love highlighting small businesses that pour their heart into what they do and Churros Boutique is one you’ll want to experience for yourself.
