PIT vs. POT COOK-OFF 2025 Brings the Heat to Morgan City

The PIT vs. POT COOK-OFF 2025 will take place on Saturday, August 9, from 12 PM to 6 PM under the Highway 90 Bridge in Morgan City, Louisiana.

The event will feature more than 29 entries competing for top honors in two distinct cooking styles — smoky pit barbecue and slow-simmered Cajun pots. For $20 admission, attendees can sample every entry and cast their vote for the winners.

Many members of the Leauxcal crew will be in attendance, with Leauxcal’s Travel Da Boot serving as one of the official judges.
