Lace up for Fun, Fitness, and a Zydeco After Party
Mark your calendars! The beloved Dance Away 5k returns for its 9th year on Saturday, September 13th, in historic downtown Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. This year's race promises more fun than ever with a rodeo theme, so dust off your cowboy hats and get creative with your costume. Awards will be given for the best costumes, adding extra flair to the race.
Why "Dance Away"?
The name comes from a tradition that has kept runners and walkers coming back year after year: with every registration, participants receive free entry to Buck and Johnny's world-famous Zydeco Breakfast. After you cross the finish line, head over for a lively after-party with live music, a hearty breakfast, and your choice of a complimentary Bloody Mary or Mimosa.
