Holiday Treats from Kasey P: Thanksgiving Edition

Thanksgiving is a time for reflecting on what we are thankful for, spending time with friends and family, taking time to relax a bit, but most of all.....Thanksgiving is a time to indulge. Most people are dreaming of all the delicious traditional holiday foods like turkey, dressing, green bean casserole, but I tend to dream about DESSERTS! Although my dream may be a little different than most, I tend to dream about creating tempting treats for others to enjoy!

Here is my little video of my dreamy Thanksgiving treats from this year! I made my famous Ms. Lee cake (named after BBQ Bran's Mom). An almond cake with a creamy pineapple filling and an almond flavored luscious Swiss Meringue Buttercream icing.

My pecan pie was a total experiment. I am usually not a fan of Pecan Pie because I always find it a bit on the sweet side, so I used Steen's Syrup instead of corn syrup in my recipe. It was a game changer!! I also added 2 cups of pecans! If you are a big fan of pecans, this is definitely a take on pecan pie that you will love! I hope you enjoy and as always....Keep Stirrin' that Pot!!
