Fin Feather Fur Food Festival: A Tempting Treasure Trove of Tasty Treats!

The F5 has been a fundraising staple in the Houston area since 2004. The event is sponsored by the American Association of Drilling Engineers, and the proceeds from the event help support the Andy Ellis Scholarship, AADE activities, and other educational initiatives.

Close to 100 cooking teams competed in the following categories: Fin:1st-3rd place, Feather:1st-3rd place, Fur:1st-3rd place, Dessert: 1st-3rd place, Showmanship, and Crowd's Choice. Our friend Rusty with Rusty's Seasoning for Everystuff compete's every year on the Eaton Oil Tools' team. Rusty always serves up something special for the event! We tried so many dishes from all the teams, but this year my favorite dish was our friend Chance Reon's bread pudding.

It was unbelievably delicious! The food overall was outstanding and I cannot wait to go back! I highly recommend checking out this event if you're in the Houston area next year.
